Going on a Trip

For my birthday (which is tomorrow if you want to leave any birthday wishes, wink wink) my mom and her wife bought me a trip to Colorado to see my boyfriend. So I decided I'd do a quick little post of the outfits I will be wearing for the five days I will be there. Yay!

Jacket: Thrifted
Dress: Thrifted
Shoes: Payless (they're actually kids shoes. I have tiny feet)

This is what I plan on wearing on the plane. Also those are the only pair of shoes I'm taking. I like to pack light. Also those are my boyfriend's dog tags. He's an Army man. Though he's just in the National Guard now while he finishes his last bit of school. On to what I'm packing.

Cami: White House Black Market
Sweater: Hand me down
Skirt: Thrifted
Belt: White House Black Market
Necklace: Forever 21 (it's a little rabbit)

Blouse: Hand me down
Sash: From my bridesmaid's dress from my mom's wedding
Skirt: same as above

Dress: Thrifted
Sweater: Same as above
Sash: H&M (from an old dress)

Jacket: Same as abobe
Shirt: Hand me down
Skirt: Thrifted

Yep that's all the clothes I'm taking. 2 skirts, 2 dresses, 3 tops, only one pair of shoes, and one jacket. Plus a few different necklaces. Now I am off to shower and then soon bed because I have to get up at 5 am to make my flight.

  1. First of all, happy birthday! :D
Wow, you made quite a lot of stylish outfit just with a few items. And almost all of them being thrifted or hand me downs. I really wish I had your sense of style, I guess I would spend a lot less on clothing XD!
As a side note: you're so lucky living in a country where gay marriage (and not gay unions or that kind of surrogate) is allowed. :)
Have a nice trip with your boyfriend!

    1. First off thank you! Also all the thrift finds is mostly due to the fact that there are thrift stores all over San Francisco, and it's subburbs. As for hand me downs, I just got lucky. Also my moms are only technically married in Connecticut not in California where we live. But it is a big step in the right direction.
