Yep I'm going to Canada College. Which is in California, not Canada. I'm going to be in their costume design program. I went today to look at their housing advertisement board. Everyone there was really nice and the campus is really pretty.
I was nervous about going to community college, thanks to my high- school making them sound awful. But Canada seemed more like a small private college
They even have a student government which I want to get involved in. I wanted to in high school, but my grades were awful.
Everything feels like I'm getting a big second chance now. After two years at SFSU that ended badly and a much needed year off, I feel really confident about going back to school. Also because it's Red and Black week here's a sort of close-up of my outfit.
Outfit Rundown:
Cami: White House Black Market, Sweater: Forever21, Skirt: Thrifted, Shoes: Payless (the kid's section.)
Your outfis seems very suitable for that warm climate. :) I think it is the perfect for a summer day, with the wide hem!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I originally bought it for lolita, but it works pretty well for a retro outfit too, I think.
DeleteTrsut me, collage is much more fun, than high school! ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd costume design is cool, I'm sure you'll love it! ^^
Anyways, you look cute, I love that skirt! ^^
I hope it is this go round. My first time going to college didn't go so well.
DeleteAlso thank you. :)

ReplyDeleteI will be posting all my projects! I really hope this time is going to be great. The first two years didn't work out so well. Thank you for you well wishes.

ReplyDeleteThat thrifted skirt is adorable. :o)
Thank you, thank you, thank you. :)
DeleteCongratulations!! Costume design sounds like a great program. I think it's sad that community colleges get such a bad rap - many of them are excellent schools! And this one makes a great backdrop for outfit shots. ;) Best of luck in your housing hunt!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
